If you’re looking for color Ellis produces colors from fawn to black to gray. Not only are his offspring producing super-fine fleeces, but they also have impressive staple lengths. His two yearlings both have over 5-inch staples that are super fine, dense, uniform and have a beautiful high-frequency crimp! What more could you want? So far, he has had two very successful cria crops, and we are very excited to see what his third does.
(UPDATE) Ellis, at the CABA Classic, took 3rd place in Get of Sire (Reverence, Guylian, Moon Struck) in a very competitive field, with the first going to Happy Hound’s Alpaca Ranch! We could not be more proud of our boy. On another note, his daughter Badger Canyon’s Totally Fabulous Fable took first in both halter and walking fleece. His other daughter, Little Miss Moon Struck placed both first and third. His son, Badger Canyon’s Angel’s Reverence placed first, and last but not least, his yearling boy Guylian took two seconds in the bred and owned classes!
