Misty is a gorgeous female with amazing coverage. She is a “spinner’s dream” said Halter Judge Wade Gease when presenting her ribbon during the 2012 Showcase. Her silky-soft fiber is nearly blue in hue, and indeed spins up beautifully! She has exceptional staple length, soft hand and beautiful brilliance to her uniform, dense, fine fleece. (2012 AFD 22; 2013 AFD 23) Misty took 1st place at Showcase 2013 and again at Showcase 2014!
From her sire, The Rebel, Misty inherited his awesome phenotype. She is conformationally correct, with good substance of bone, compact frame, well-proportioned with straight top line. She has a confident, even temperament, resides well with others and is gentle on the lead.
Misty’s pedigree is loaded with impressive gray and black genetics, including The Rebel, PPeruvian Pluro, Michelangelo, PPeruvian Guellermo, with lots of color in her background. Her dam, Naomi's Nicolette, is a fantastic bay black female who has produced multiple color champions. This year, Misty is being put to Liberty’s Ellis Island (light brown) with the possibility to produce black, silver gray, brown or rose gray; any of which will be a stunning cria!
